Job Description

LETTINGS DIRECTOR

Position Overview:

As the Lettings Director, you will report to the Group MD and be responsible for ensuring compliance to lettings regulations across the group, driving business opportunities, and managing financial performance. You will also play a key role in team and brand development, collaboration with other departments, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to lettings regulatory requirements and provide support to branches for compliance.
  • Achieve annual business plan and KPI targets, and support lettings managers in business development.
  • Manage financial performance, provide detailed financial reports, and offer support/training on financial management.
  • Provide training and mentorship to lettings managers and staff, and collaborate with marketing for brand development.
  • Foster a culture of learning and development, collaborate with operations specialists, and participate in company conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive industry knowledge and proficiency in the lettings process
  • Ideally experience of managing multiple offices
  • Knowledge of business planning, staff targeting and budgeting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and previous experience in training and coaching
  • Proficiency in legal aspects within the lettings and sales business for compliance and risk mitigation

Day-to-day:

  • Visit branches regularly to ensure compliance and drive growth
  • Monitor business plans and financial performance
  • Provide training and mentorship to lettings managers and staff
  • Collaborate with other departments and attend industry events
  • Represent the organization in external forums and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
