Sales Manager
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Sales Manager to lead, manage, and develop this Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing the conversion rate of every telephone enquiry while ensuring a world-class level of customer experience. If you are driven, customer-focused, and have a proven track record of achieving sales targets in a contact centre environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the Sales team to deliver their accountabilities and responsibilities.
- Build and improve capability and motivation within the team through coaching, feedback, and empowerment.
- Drive a performance and customer-focused culture within the team, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
- Create and drive a high-performing, motivational sales environment, ensuring the team is energised to achieve their targets and deliver a great customer experience.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure operational excellence and the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage and foster relationships with suppliers and third parties.
- Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the team’s output and performance.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to support stakeholders in making data-driven decisions.
- Make improvements to the parts the team plays in the customer journey.
- Be part of the on-call team on a rota basis.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of leading teams to achieve sales targets in a contact centre environment.
- Proven experience of improving the customer experience.
- Driven to achieve sales targets and able to motivate others to achieve.
- A customer-first mentality with the ability to inspire this within their team and across the business.
- A resilient, positive, and personable approach.
- A calm and confident approach to problem-solving.
- Empathy – able to put themselves in the customers’ shoes.
- Experience of building strong relationships with suppliers and third parties.
- Able to balance ‘people’ and ‘performance’.- Strong written and verbal skills.
