Overview

We are have a new and enticing opportunity to work with a fast growth client who is expanding their marketing team in York. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company that values ambition, integrity, and quality. Benefits

• IRO £30,000 plus company bonus up to 15% of basic salary
• Annual leave entitlement of 22 days to start, with additional days per year of service
• Company bonus of up to 15% of base salary - historically this is always paid out

You will have an in depth understanding of SEO and have previous experience in a similar role.  You will have a passion for writing and be able to adapt your writing to the tone of voice of the business.  If you love travel, even better! Who doesn't love travel?

Responsibilities

• Creating engaging and informative content that drives traffic to the website and boosts rankings.
• Crafting compelling titles and meta descriptions
• Collaborating with the wider marketing team to ensure consistency across platforms
• Support for general SEO and online marketing tasks
• Assisting with various on going requirements in the business including PPC monitoring, lead gen reports, event tracking report, landing page bounce rates and other tracking mechanisms.

Skills required

• Capability in Microsoft office and Google Suite
• Keyword research
• SEO writing
• Link building
• Utilise analytics tools to track performance
• Staying current with industry trends
• Independent and able to sense check your own work
• Able to use guides and documents to apply them to your own daily workload
• Working to deadlines
• Working collaboratively with marketing and sales
