Responsibilities
As a Management Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

Month-End Tasks:
- Posting payroll entries.
- Calculating and posting accrued and deferred income.
- Reviewing sales reports and posting sales transactions.
- Reviewing stock reports and posting stock adjustments.
- Updating the fixed asset register, reviewing additions, and posting depreciation.
- Managing hardware funds and posting related journals.
- Reviewing bank reconciliations for local and foreign currency accounts and updating monthly cash flow.
- Reviewing and posting intra-group recharges.
- Completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns (CH, HAM, and 0044) via MTD.
- Calculating and posting overhead accruals and prepayments with reference to budgets and prepaid expenses.
- Reviewing overheads against budgets, with a particular focus on IS OPEX and Marketing.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and tracking variances.

Assisting with month-end Power BI tasks, including manual sales adjustments and other reporting requirements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or working towards one.
- Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, month-end processes, and VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
