Sales Account Manager
Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales Account Manager to join a growing and dynamic team in the global distributor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone motivated and commercially minded who enjoys building relationships and working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. This is a full-cycle sales role, ideal for candidates ready to take ownership of their own customer portfolio.
Details:
- £28,000 + bonus + uncapped commission
- Monday – Thursday, 8:15am – 5:00pm
- Early finish Friday: 8:15am – 4:00pm

Responsibilities:
- Manage the full sales process from lead generation to closing and post-sale support
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and suppliers
- Generate leads
- Provide accurate and timely customer quotations
- Manage purchase orders and monitor supplier performance
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets
- Deliver excellent customer service aligned with company values
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Increase revenue and profitability within existing accounts
- Hold regular TEAMS meetings with customers
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth order delivery
- Resolve customer issues in collaboration with a manager or mentor
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience, including making outbound calls
- Professional and positive attitude
- Strong team player
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Able to work under pressure and on own initiative
- Confident negotiator with strategic thinking abilities
- Commitment, drive and enthusiasm for sales
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
