We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to play a pivotal role in managing and developing key customer accounts across the Midlands and South. If you thrive in a collaborative, customer-focused environment and are ready to make a real impact, this opportunity is for you.

  • Hours - Mon - Thurs 8:30am - 5pm and Fri - 8:30 - 4pm.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Understand customer objectives, challenges, and requirements to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximise performance and satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for designated accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth within existing accounts through effective planning and engagement.
  • Achieve sales targets and account objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer use of products and services.
  • Provide regular business reviews and insights to customers and senior management.
  • Build relationships with procurement teams, operational leaders, and decision-makers.
  • Navigate public sector procurement processes and support tender activities.
  • Keep customers informed of product developments and service improvements.
  • Represent the company professionally during visits, meetings, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years' experience in Account Management, Strategic Account Management, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong track record of growing and retaining customer accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and align solutions for mutual success.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercially aware with a focus on delivering long-term value and sustainable growth.
  • Experience working with larger organisations and Public Sector customers is advantageous.
