Finance Assistant
Overview
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers and a passion for accuracy? We are seeking a dynamic Finance Assistant on a full-time basis (35 hours a week). In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining purchase ledger records, processing invoices, and supporting the finance team with essential administrative tasks. - Salary: Up to £24,500 (dependent on experience)
- Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (35 hours a week)

Responsibilities
- Processing and maintaining purchase ledger records with precision and accuracy.
- Handling invoice processing and resolving any invoice-related queries.
- Batch posting of invoices.
- Assisting with cash management and bank reconciliation.
- Dealing with Freelancer and supplier payment runs.
- Period end Procedure and statement reconciliation.
- Providing administrative support to the finance team.
- Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and within required deadlines.
Essential
- Proven experience in purchase ledger.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy and varied environment.
- A proactive, organised, and methodical approach to work.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience with Sage software would be beneficial but not essential
