Responsibilities

As a Payroll Executive, you’ll be at the heart of our payroll bureau, ensuring seamless payroll processing for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing payrolls across various pay frequencies.
  • Submitting RTI reports to HMRC and managing payroll changes.
  • Handling starters, leavers, and statutory payments (SMP, SSP, SPP).
  • Calculating holiday pay and issuing payslips and summaries.
  • Managing auto-enrolment pension submissions.
  • Generating BACS payments and liaising with HMRC and clients.
  • Processing P45s, P46s, and P60s.
  • Addressing client and employee payroll inquiries.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Word & Excel effectively.
  • Leveraging Sage 50 Payroll (experience advantageous).

Qualifications

  • Previous payroll experience, ideally in a bureau environment, with a track record of running multiple payrolls.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative spirit with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in all payroll processes.
  • Previous practice experience
