Responsibilities
As a Payroll Senior, you’ll be at the heart of this payroll bureau, ensuring seamless service delivery for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Setting up new clients and adding them to Sage, including creating HMRC accounts.
- Managing CIS submissions and handling Auto Enrolment duties.
- Liaising with pension scheme providers to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
- Submitting declarations of compliance and addressing related queries.
- Running multiple payrolls with precision and efficiency.
- Supporting team members and handling administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous payroll experience, ideally in a bureau environment or Practice.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, Auto Enrolment, and payroll systems (Sage 50 experience is a plus).
- Skills: Ability to manage multiple payrolls, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Team Player: Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Qualifications: CIPP/Payroll qualification is advantageous but not essential.
