We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Transport Executive to join the team in York. As a Transport Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring a robust process is in place for all tasks related to rail journeys, maintaining high standards of customer service, and managing travel disruptions effectively. Responsibilities

  • Confirming arrangements for all journeys within strict deadlines
  • Responding to availability issues and finding suitable alternative arrangements
  • Proactively managing travel disruption to ensure customers reach their intended destination
  • Establishing and maintaining a direct relationship with suppliers
  • Communicating effectively with suppliers, tour managers, and internal departments to ensure high-quality delivery of products and services
  • Working within the Transport team to ensure tasks are completed within SLA and KPI
  • Delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining on-time delivery
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure a seamless tour experience for customers
  • Responding to customer requests and maintaining a high standard of customer service
  • Fulfilling any other duties reasonably expected of the role

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interest in travel with good geographical knowledge
  • Strong team player with clear and concise communication skills
  • Excellent written English and numeracy skills
  • Methodical and organized approach to work, both individually and as part of a team
