Telehandler Driver/Warehouse Operative

Overview

We are seeking a Telehandler Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team. The role involves operating a Telehandler to load and unload products in a safe manner, as well as undertaking manual warehouse duties and handling heavy products. The successful candidate will work in a busy warehouse environment and must hold a telehandler licence.

  • Sunday to Thursday, 6am-2.30pm plus overtime with generous overtime rate of £17.60ph
  • £27,547 salary plus overtime
  • 31 days holiday (inc BH) and 3 days to be used over Christmas - Near Year shut down.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a telehandler to load and unload products safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Undertake manual warehouse duties
  • Handle heavy products
  • Work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Undertake additional tasks when required

Qualifications

  • Telehandler licence
  • Ideally, recent experience in a busy warehouse environment
  • Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work additional hours, particularly at peak times - generous overtime rate will apply
