Sales Order Administrator

Overview:

We are seeking a Sales Order Administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering efficient reception and administration functions. The individual will provide support to the sales function and ensure customer requirements are met within our quality management systems. This role is office based and has a lovely early finish of 1pm on a Friday :)

  • 4.5 day working week - hours of 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and half a day on a Friday with a finish of 1pm

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming telephone and email traffic, addressing queries and distributing information
  • Managing communication with customers and suppliers, processing sales orders, and maintaining accurate records within the company's systems.
  • Contact customers to communicate delivery dates and ensure accuracy of customer records
  • Administer the company's MRP system within the sales and manufacturing function
  • Handle sales enquiries and process sales information requests
  • Prepare manufacturing documentation for scheduled loads and provide adhoc administration support
  • Maintain updates of industry best practices and quality management techniques

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability in developing excellent customer relationships
  • Confident telephone manner and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and capacity for clear, positive thinking
  • Familiarity with common software platforms and administrative systems
  • Affinity with company products and core philosophy
