Inventory Data Entry Executive

Overview

Are you readily available and looking for a quick turnaround job role? We looking for a highly organised, detail-focused individual to join a vibrant, quirky, and outgoing business based just north of York.This is a data-heavy role where accuracy is absolutely essential. You’ll be responsible for entering large volumes of data, cross-referencing information, identifying discrepancies, and using Power BI to analyse and interpret data. If you’re someone who naturally spots the smallest of errors, enjoys working with data, and takes real pride in getting things right first time, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Benefits

  • Pay rate: £13.45ph 
  • Duration: 9 months temporary contract 
  • Full time  - Monday to Friday
  • Start date - ASAP 
  • Location:  North of York, must have own transport
  • Hybrid - 2 mandatory days in office (Tuesdays & Wednesdays), but can work from office more if preferred.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week

 

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and input contract rates and other cost information from suppliers into the system to accurately reflect the cost base. 
  • Create new records and entry fields where necessary
  • Create and update itineraries in an accurate and timely manner 
  • Communicate & respond to data and procedural questions from around the business
  • Use reporting created in Power BI and Excel to provide insights and manage workflow 
  • Collaborate work with the team and other departments 

 

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of database entry and comfortable with Microsoft Excel
  • Rigorous, methodical approach to handling a large volume of data entry
  • Logical mind with an acute eye for detail, inaccuracy and inconsistency
  • Able to manage variable workloads effectively and meet key deadlines
  • MUST have your own transport due to location
