Transport Executive - Rail
Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Transport Executive - Rail to join this dedicated Transport team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless rail arrangements for our customers, collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver a first-class travel experience.

Responsibilities
- Confirm and coordinate rail journey arrangements within strict deadlines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Proactively address availability issues, providing alternative solutions and keeping all stakeholders informed.
- Manage travel disruptions to ensure customers reach their destinations with minimal inconvenience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, with full training provided.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align ground arrangements, such as transfers and regional connections, with rail schedules.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, tour managers, and internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Respond to customer requests for holiday amendments within tight timeframes while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Contribute to team objectives and support colleagues in achieving shared goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, customer-focused environment with a strong emphasis on service excellence.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- A strong interest in travel and solid geographical knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and concise approach.
- Strong numeracy skills and a methodical, organized approach to work.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive as part of a team.
