HR Administrator – Fixed Term Contract
Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated HR Administrator to join their HR team in Corby on a fixed term contract for 6 months initially. Details:
- £24,000 - £28,000 per annum
- Fixed-term contract (6 months initially)
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Based in Corby with free onsite parking

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new employees, ensuring right-to-work documentation is verified and relevant systems are updated.
- Assist in recruitment by posting job requisitions and collaborating with managers to identify staffing needs.
- Oversee administrative tasks across HR, payroll, and time management systems.
- Manage reference requests for employment and financial purposes using standard templates.
- Support employee lifecycle processes, including probationary reviews, leaver management, and contractual changes.
- Coordinate mail merge projects for HR communications and generate reports from various sources, including the Employee Relations tracker.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations.
- Direct managers to appropriate forms, policies, and procedures.
- Support HR projects, including the implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
- Act as a note-taker during meetings, accurately documenting discussions and decisions.
- Provide payroll support as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification.
- 5 GCSEs A-C or equivalent qualifications.
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR administration role.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
