Credit Controller

We are seeking a confident and proactive Credit Controller to join our dynamic and friendly team on a contract basis for 14 months. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays, with the remaining days spent in our lively and supportive office environment. Responsibilities

  • All aspects of credit control
  • Producing customer statements, reminder letters and copy invoices
  • Chasing outstanding payments
  • Maintenance of customer account information, including credit limits and assessing applications for new accounts
  • Account reconciliation
  • Raising debit and credit memos when required
  • Cash allocation (on occasion)
  • Uploading queries and assigning cases in Salesforce
  • Using Excel skills such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables to create weekly and monthly reports
  • Proactively reviewing processes and producing solutions where applicable to streamline
  • Working alongside different departments to ensure correct processes are followed

Qualifications

  • A warm, confident character who is resilient
  • Motivated by improvements in the debtor accounts you control
  • Attention to detail
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel as use of VLOOKUPs is required
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels
  • Ability to work under own initiative and within a team
  • Organised and able to prioritise work
