HSE Advisor


We have a fabulous new role for an experienced H&S professional to support all relevant departments and external parties in relation to health, safety and welfare of employees and those who work with the business.  The individual will identify and manage H&S risks and operate with a solutions focused approach.

A SNAPSHOT OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY COORDINATORS' DAY

The responsibilities and areas for showcasing your skills and experience are plentiful so we will focus on a few to provide a general overview!

  • Reporting to the H&S Manager, you will have responsibility for all health and safety systems and procedures
  • You will identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Provide support to all Directors, Managers and Supervisors regarding their H&S responsibilities
  • Communication is key in this role - you will escalate any points of none compliance AND ensure that the workforce are fully aware of their H&S responsibilities
  • Accurate record keeping for all accidents and near misses
  • Undertaking technical risk assessments
  • Periodic audits and inspections
  • Compliance audits of all company sites
  • Induction training to all employees, contractors and agency workers

  • NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent qualification - desirable but not essential. 
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • IT literate and comprehensive understanding of windows including word, excel, and outlook
  • Positive attitude towards work and colleagues
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • Previous multi-site experience desirable
