Rent and Service Charge Lead

 

Excellent Opportunity!Our client is looking for an experienced individual to play a pivotal in a service setting. If you’re passionate about operational leadership, compliance and continuous improvement this could be the role for you!

A Snapshot of Your Day:

  • Develop and execute rent setting processes to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on rent and service charge-related issues.
  • Advise on Section 20 consultation processes to ensure full compliance with legal obligations.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop annual rent and service charge budgets.
  • Ensure accurate identification of costs and maximize income through effective recovery of service chargeable expenditures.
  • Review service charge expenditures for value for money and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Support service during annual service charge meetings with leaseholders and tenants.
  • Stay updated with relevant legislation and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

 

Does This Sound Like a Good Fit for You?

  • Highly developed understanding of the housing sector and its regulation.
  • Current knowledge of managing Section 20 consultation processes.
  • Significant experience in setting and managing rents and service charges in housing.
  • Proficient in working with large, complex data sets and providing meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with tenants and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional knowledge and building networks.
