Administrator

Overview

We are seeking an Administrator to join an administration team of seven in a relaxed and friendly environment. You will be responsible for providing administration services for clients and supporting day-to-day tasks and projects. This role offers a salary of £22,500 per annum but please be aware that this role has also attracted an average bonus of £15,000 p.a. for the last 5 years for each administrator in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing administration services and support to clients
  • Handle premium payment and reconciliation
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks and projects
  • Work as a team to ensure overall objectives are met
  • Make wider contributions and demonstrate commitment to company values

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience within financial administration services
  • Decisive, accountable, and able to act under own initiative
  • Confidence and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and organised approach with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel & Teams

Day-to-day

  • Obtain and process policy documentation
  • Undertake reporting and administration for policy amendments, lapse, or maturity
  • Handle premium payment and reconciliation, troubleshooting any issues that arise
  • Assist with general team or ad-hoc tasks and participate in internal projects
  • Follow processes and procedures as set out in the Quality Management document and Working Instructions
